The fourth grade students have been working on composing in ABA form. That means that the music heard in the end of the song is the same as the beginning, with a different theme or melody in the middle.
Below are recordings of their performances. This post will be updated as students finish their projects, so make sure to check back soon!

1st Grade- Peter and the Wolf
Our first graders have been studying Sergei Prokofiev's, "Peter and the Wolf." This story is told through music and each character is represented by an instrument. Each class will now create their own orchestration of "Peter and the Wolf" using classroom percussion instruments. We can't wait to see what each group has created!
Spring Concert- 2012
A BIG Congratulations to our 4th and 5th Grade Students for a WONDERFUL band and chorus performance last Thursday night! The chorus performed songs from various parts of the world in five different languages. They opened the chorus program singing in Swahili and ended the program with, "What a Wonderful World," which is the title of our chorus program. We look forward to more singing next year with our incoming 4th and 5th graders!
