Congratulations to the Rose Quartet, Memorial's first student string quartet! They performed at this year's Art Show and Pancake breakfast.
To prepare, the students learned how to play without a conductor - a valuable skill for any chamber ensemble. They practiced listening to one another and adjusting as they play to maintain consistent tempo, articulation, and mood. These girls really rose to the challenge!

The girls hope to continue the quartet in the coming years at the middle school. I can't wait to go to their next gig!
