Grand Old Flag!
We want to cheer so loud that everyone hears us
When we see you on display.
You're the spirit of hope and liberty;
You make us feel like shouting "Hooray!"
Red white and blue, we pledge allegiance to you;
We love the colors of the U.S.A
Waving proud and free for all the world to see,
You will always lead the way!
You're a grand old flag, you're a high flying flag,
And forever and in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of the land we love;
The home of the free and the brave.
Every heart beats true for the red, white and blue
And there's never a boast or brag.
Should old acquaintance be forgot
Keep your eyes on that grand old flag!
**Third Time- Sing both verses together as a partner song.
Our Red, White and Blue
Ooh...
Fifty stars on a field of blue.
Thirteen stripes for the colonies who
set out to build a great nation,
with fairness and justice and truth
Fifty stars represent our nation.
One for each of our great states.
Seven red and six pure white stripes.
They are on our flag to remind us
of our strong resolve to be free!
Fifty stars on a field of blue.
Thirteen stripes for the colonies who
set out to build a great nation,
with fairness and justice and truth
All: Spoken Solos:
Ooh.
Ooh.
Ooh.Ooh.
Ooh.
Fifty stars on a field of blue.
Thirteen stripes for the colonies who
set out to build a great nation,
with fairness and justice and truth
Thirteen stripes for the colonies who
set out to build a great nation,
with fairness and justice and truth
That's our red, white and blue.
Thank you! I sang this in 3rd grade and wanted to know if there were any other verses :) I'm now 22 but I still remember all of my elementary school music
ReplyDeleteHey, same. I remember the songs I sang in kindergarten and stuff. I also have the same first name as you. I think that that is pretty cool. I do not meet that many Natalie's nowadays. Sometimes I remember different clips of some songs that I have sang and I search them so that I cam get the full lyrics. It really bugs me when I can not remember the full lyrics to a song. Also, does anyone know a song that goe "When the cannons have gone quiet on the hillsides, and muskets are silent on the shores, and in the rose of alabamy the ... blooms...."
DeleteDoes anyone know the title of a song that goes "When the cannons have gone quiet on the hillsides, and the muskets have gone silent on the shores. When the rose of alabamy blooms in pennsylvania soil, we will raise arms against our brothers nevermore."
ReplyDeleteI was just searching up "We want to cheer so loud that everyone can hear us when we see you on display, You're the spirit of hope and liberty" from a 3rd grade song, cuz I forgot the full lyrics. The good old days in elementary school...
