Reminder: ALL students will be given the opportunity to participate in our Musical Showcase next week, during their music classes (except Monday, due to Field Day). Students may choose to sing, dance, or play an instrument. This is their chance to share any musical skills they have! The students always enjoy watching their peers, so we hope all students choose to participate!
The first grade students completed taping their ABA compositions. You can check them out here. They also played Musical Jeopardy!
The second grade students played Musical Jeopardy, then reviewed some fun games from first and second grade. They played favorites such as, "We are Looking for Eggs" and "Lucy Locket." Some students even learned a new song (and game!) called, "Rico's Pizza Restaurant." It was so much fun!
We want to give a HUGE congratulations to third grade students- they did an amazing job at their Flag Day concert on Tuesday. They also reviewed some concepts learned this year with a fun round of Musical Jeopardy!
The fourth graders played a challenging game of Musical Jeopardy, and also enjoyed some silly music-themed basketball and soccer games! If you would like to play them at home, you can visit the Music Tech Teacher website.
The fifth grade students enjoyed rounds of Musical Jeopardy, basketball, and soccer. They also continued working on memorizing their moving up song! This year, we let the students write their own lyrics to accompany a favorite song: "Happy," by Pharrell Williams! Check it out:
