Weekly Review 6/10 - 6/14

Happy Friday!

We have had a great week in music!  The first, second, and third graders played a fun game on the Touch It board that helped them review instruments, rhythm, timbre, and sound.  It's called "Musical Mysteries."

Fourth and fifth graders played games on the Touch It board too.  Musical basketball and soccer helped us review the different rhythms that they have learned about since first grade!

For their second class this week, the first grade students watch a movie about sounds and music Under the Sea.  It was fun to sing along!

Second, third, fourth and fifth graders played Music Jeopardy for their second music class this week.  You can find more information about that HERE.

Mrs. Niu and I would like to congratulate the 5th grade students on their Moving Up ceremony last night! You did a wonderful job singing "Today is the Day," and we were very impressed with your level of maturity.  You are definitely ready for middle school.  We are SO proud of you all, and we will miss you next year. Please visit us! :)
