2nd Grade Partner Songs

This week, the second grade students learned a set of partner songs: "Ah Poor Bird" and "Hey Ho" (lyrics can be found here)

Once they learned each song separately, they split into two groups and sang them at the same time, as demonstrated here with Ms. McLaughlin and Mrs. Farrand's classes:

Once the learned the two songs, we added an Orff percussion ensemble, comprised of the soprano xylophone, the alto xylophone, the glockenspiel, hand drum, finger cymbals, and triangle.  Each instrument played a four-beat ostinato:
